Disco BallDuring the 1970's and 80's The Brian Day Mobile Disco Show toured in two vans with own personalised number plates around the South of England from Norwich to Penzance. Some of the equipment is shown here and the huge road shows included  2 female and 1 male 'Go Go' dancers, 4 crew to rig the shows along with sound, lights, projectors, and strobes in venues around the UK and even a massive 'follow spotlight' and operator who was at the back of the hall on high scaffolding.  Other equipment included Lasers, Smoke and Bubble Machines and a large mirror ball was hung from every Nightclub or Dance Hall ceiling!
Newspaper Advertisement from 1972 In the 1972 Brian was working as the DJ on Saturday nights at the worldAdvertising poster from the Seventies famous Marquee Club in London's Soho district.   Regular artists included acts like Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, The Animals, Hawkwind, Supertramp, Deep Purple, The Who, The Rolling Stones and David Bowie

In 1980 the ABC Cinema Minors Club made Brian an 'Uncle' during a live BBC Radio 1 Club Show after regularly appearing on stage before the Saturday Morning Film show - cartoon, adventure and a children's film and all for just sixpence! (2.5p)

Film work includes: 'That Summer',  'Four Weddings and a Funeral' and James Bond's 'GoldenEye'
